It is definitely typical god nonsense. The weirdest part was Umbvagher uses EMOJIS as communication? And memes. He said "you are awaited" at us and we have no idea what that means, only that immediately after the weather went nuts.

The Singularity is the center of magic here, and why we have the psychic plane the Horizon to chill in. It's what is causing the weather. But it's normal magic people who have kidnapped us.

I was told its personality (from someone who is anon and knows it well) is basically like emotional toddler. I'm not sure it's anything more than that. My guess is it just doesn't know how to communicate with people, it probably is communicating in a higher level way that doesn't make sense to us. But that doesn't do us any good.

We're just not sure if the Singularity is mad because the god is running around inside it and it can't stop him. That does give some theory that he hasn't been around for awhile. The zealot I talked to in Solvunn said he rarely shows up or is called upon by people because of how capricious he is.

No it's okay, I get it. This is actually pretty new. We only found out about the clown in February and the storms started in March. And obviously you see how it's escalated since. Yes, it's totally possible. In my world, gods aren't limited to one world and they create their own, so they can have experienced something modern and then jumped somewhere medieval. I don't know if that's what happens here because we don't have access to them easily, but that's pretty reasonable to jump to.

I didn't either until it decided to throw its temper tantrum at me emotionally. It's really pissed at that clown. I don't think it's trying to destroy everything so much as doesn't understand the consequences. But that doesn't mean it can be reasoned with.

That was exactly my thought. I was trying to put together some traps and wards, the problem is, that wouldn't work in the Horizon because it's a psychic plane not a physical one. The last time people called on his runes, someone almost died, so there's no guarantee he'll come IRL if called.

Yes, he already is in the Horizon. The gods can mess with it, they have access to it. And it's likely they have their own, it is speculated that there were these large bizarre spaces people were trapped in before when in the Horizon, and now people think those were god domains.

I was not here when the gods tore up shit, that was over a year ago. There was a ritual of some kind and it led to three gods, heralds, being summoned and they messed up everyone. I was told about it later. There also was a god involved with a kidnapping situation with the Summoned.

From what I can tell about the gods though, they do respond to summons, but they don't seem to be doing this for their own reasons/spite. This clown god seems to be the first one who is doing it for the hell of it.

It's definitely a be careful situation. He's causing trouble in there too, although we don't know if it's him or he's simply instigating with the Singularity. It's like the Singularity is responding the way your body does to an infection.

No it's okay! I can only answer as much as I know, you probably could ask people who have been here longer. But I don't know why they had access to god domains, but people got trapped in them. They were sucked in, it was a surprise.

Yes, which is kind of wild that the Free Cities doesn't seem to believe in them and Thorne seems skeptical. Solvunn is very faithful but they're the ones who have logical reasons to be because their prayers are actively being answered and the gods respond over here. But the heralds thing, they ran amuck over all the territories, so how that didn't immediately lead people to go 'oh fuck it's real' is beyond me.

I've been here since October so I'm not one of the older people, but I'm in Solvunn which is god land so I know the pantheon here, etc., and have now interacted with the Singularity which was a wild experience.

I can understand why people might not want them to be real, even if they've witnessed them. Back home, most people would accept bizarre explanations for gods because they'd rather not believe. Maybe it's about wanting to pretend it's not happening.

Ours are tied to it, or at least tied to the ideas of "western civilization." Not everyone believes in them anymore, but they're still kicking.

In Solvunn at least they're very active. Most prayers do get answered and they favor it probably because they are believed in strongly. I guess when all the Summoned got kidnapped last year, the cult was able to get help from the gods because of their prayers. It means the Solvunnites do have a particular brand of magic and power that not everywhere else does. People should be glad they like to just hang out with goats and trees.

We do too. There's a few of us who have tried to connect with them. They're open to it. I'm not sure if they'd answer a summoning somewhere else, but I'm not sure anyone's tried. I don't see why they wouldn't.
