Hey there, everyone. My name is Steve Rogers and I'm one of the people most recently summoned to the Free Cities. I'm also a good friend of Sam Wilson's — we've worked together for a number of years. I know he's made quite the name for himself here.

I've only been here for a little over a month, but in that time I've noticed a sudden increase in military activity within Cadens. There's increased drills and training exercises, equipment moving in and out, that kind of thing. I went by Fort Wilbridge and tried to ask some questions, but all they really had to say was that they were acting out of an abundance of caution. Almost like they're expecting something.

It seems suspicious, so I was wondering if anyone else has noticed a change in how the factions are behaving, whether it's something I haven't picked up on in Cadens or something going on in Thorne or Solvunn. I figure it might be a good idea to compare notes so we won't be completely blindsided if something else is coming our way.

That's all I've got for now, but it's nice to meet you all. In a manner of speaking, anyway.

[ There had always been a sense of loss, that the Avengers never got to see Thor's home despite hearing about it from him at length. There had even been a chance of sorts, with the heist, but Rocket ended up being the best choice to go. (Besides, that hadn't been a real trip meant for seeing the sights.) Steve's always tried to picture it, and the sweeping descriptions from Thor certainly helped, but...

It would be nice to see it. ]

I'd like that. I have to see if it lives up to everything you told me.

[ He knows it will likely be empty of people, he's prepared for that. ]

I only recently went in. Just a little while before we met up at the Tower. And it's been busy.

[ Translation: he hasn't really had a chance to make anything. ]

[thunders]

I'VE MADE CERTAIN THAT THE WINE CELLAR DOES.

[ He would know. It's usually the first place he goes when he goes into his Horizon. In truth, he isn't certain of how he feels about the rest of it, but he doesn't have another home. It will be better with people in it. He convinces himself of that.

It doesn't surprise him that Steve hasn't created anything for himself yet. He's clearly been busy, but Thor is curious - Steve is always so private. When he'd last seen Steve in person, the compound was to be his home. He wouldn't be surprised to see something similar. ]

I UNDERSTAND. WHEN YOU HAVE A MOMENT TO PREPARE YOUR HORIZON, LET ME KNOW - I WOULD SEE WHAT YOU DECIDE ON.

[ Thor would not have any idea of how much that comment, that's maybe meant as a joke, is more like a knife between the ribs. Steve hadn't been able to do anything about Thor self-destructing despite all the attempts he'd made. Nothing would bring back his parents or his brother. Or his people, or Asgard as a whole. ]

I would say that won't do anything for me, but I guess in the Horizon anything goes.

Sure, but let's focus on your place first. I'll get in touch when it's a good time to visit.
