Just a thought, considering our recent guests - what's your opinion on vampires and werewolves? Do you have them where you come from or are they just in stories? Monsters? Misunderstood? Just another type of creature?

There's a whole bar full of 'em running around here, as a matter of fact.

But those aren't the kind of monsters we're worried about. At least not unless people start turning up drained in dark alleys.

( It was mostly that part about hunters that gave him the hunch. Hunters don't say that about other hunters. Humans usually either don't know about them, or aren't all that concerned by supernatural creatures hiding from them. Thirty years of hunting, the Spidey senses tingle. )

Definitely not into velvet. It makes my skin itchy. I'm more of a denim and flannel type guy.

How's the Free Cities? It's sort of...restrained in Thorne. We're stuck in the castle city. Let me tell you, it was tough to find a job that needed my skills.

Shame about the wardrobe. Can't say I've ever wanted to look like I belonged in a medieval period piece.

Free Cities kinda is what it says on the tin. Free, for the most part. Got a real military boner, too, so I guess you could call it the America of Abraxas.

What skills are we talking?

Think you might've gotten screwed on that one. I'm pretty sure the farmers are all in Solvunn.

I could be wrong, hell, who knows, maybe they've got a whole corn maze growing somewhere in that castle.

Don't worry, I found a hobby farm to work at. Not what I'm used to, but close enough.
