Hi everyone, it's Julia Wicker here again. When the Singularity was struggling a few months ago, before the -- what are we calling it? Vision? Hallucination? Anyway -- god drama, I came on here to mention what the Singularity was communicating with me. It wasn't a lot, but it did seem to make people aware that it was more than a giant magic rock.

I don't know if anyone else has had this experience since that all went down, but it felt like it was calling to me again, and I went to connect. I know that even though we couldn't 'fix' what it was upset about back then, it still seemed like a good idea for more than two people to have a bond with it, so if you feel that pull and you're interested in going to say hi, it turned out well for me! I can go with you, if you're unsure.

AND Unrelated to that, I wanted to mention that the spellwork from my world works really well here, so if people want to learn new magical skills that aren't native to here, or you don't have access to a lot of it, I'd be happy to teach you! I figured a few things might have come in handy with our more recent calamity, so if you want to meet up in Nocwich, I'm there. Solvunn folks, you know where to find me.

I have been wondering...do you think there could be a god inside there? A very, very old one?

I don't know. It doesn't have much sentience but I can see a very old god losing that. All magic comes from a source though, I'd say it is the source.

That's kind of what I've been considering. Something that is either trapped or fallen so far into itself...or mayhaps intentionally so.

I may be grasping at kelp, as the saying goes. I suppose just a massive coalescence of aether or something similar makes as much sense.

I'm not sure it's something we can figure out, given that we saw a future where centuries down the line we don't know much more. That isn't a reason to give up before we start, but it might just be itself. I think it likes us though, that's probably why we get our own domains.

Eh, the jury's still out, but so far so good.

Healing, elemental bending, telekinesis, illusions, I don't know, it depends on what you're interested in.

I did, yeah. That's how I communicated with it the first time but luckily this time it was not flipping out. It feels natural, but I guess that's because it's a part of us here.

Do you... talk to it? Or just go up and see what happens?

And - about the spells. Do you know any for light? Sunlight. Not electric light.

I don't have a whole lot of details! It's a magical sentient being that we're all connected to here because it's connected to everything on the planet, from what I can tell. Which would make sense as it's considered the center of magic and everything is magical. I figure since we're living here, it's good to engage with it, rather than not.

Yep, I have a really good sunlight one I use when I'm doing nightly patrols.

I don't think it really has a concept of deceit? Not from what I can tell. So I guess we can trust that it's a magical entity doing its own thing and it likes us.

when i've "talked to it", it's not...talking so much as vibes? it...shows me things. a little like the echoes when we were in god-dream-space, but even less specific. not so much "dear metallica, for those about to rock we salute you, please make me look rad and roll all nat 20s tonight,🤘"

It's more -- I sit with it like what's up big magic rock, and it's all A SHADY FOREST WITH BLOSSOMING FLOWERS! and that seems 'good' to me.
maybe it could give me 'tornado' even though it's not really at 'tornado' but to what end, you know?

Hey Julia.

I did. Have that experience too, I mean. I went into the Horizon after we got back, and it felt like it was calling me and I went to find it. It was -- good; I think it was good for me, especially at the time. And maybe it too? It's hard to know, exactly, but it seems to like when we're there. Or just us in general? So I go every so often.

What do you do when you're there? I think it might be nice to go with another person.

[Teddy hasn't had much time to speak to Julia since they've gotten back, except in stressful moments, it seems like. And maybe that was always true, or she was always a little angry and hurt, in that other reality too, but their mind still misses her. They don't want to be weird about it, but it would be -- nice to get to know her here, whoever she is all the time.]

I'd be really curious to know more about your magic, too. I'd like to learn more about magic -- learn in a more intentional way. All sorts of magic. There are things I'm realizing sort of got -- left with me after we came back, but it's so hard to -- reach? I hate not knowing how to do something, or being able to but not well; I might as well lean into it and learn all kinds!

I usually sit with it and talk, tell it about what's going on in the world. I know it can hear me but I don't know if it understands any of it, but maybe it does!

My spellwork requires no praying which is useful in Solvunn I think. Think of it like Harry Potter spells only you don't need wands or words. It's mostly all gestures.

No, that makes perfect sense! I feel like I have this idea of it as a sort of ...being, or like there's someone listening on the other side? It feels like going up to a great old animal, or visiting kin who can't speak, but they're still aware and like to see you. Just because it can't talk doesn't mean we shouldn't.

When I go I...this feel strange to say. I sing to it? A lot of the time? I didn't really know what to do when I first went, so I sang a song that felt right, and it seemed to like it, so now I bring an instrument. Just things that remind me of what's going on, or sometimes something I'm writing. Doesn't seem to hate it, anyway.

So...Harry Potter, without the main Harry Potter stuff?
Just kidding. It is useful to not have a whole bunch more gods to pull in or get tangled up with the difference between blessings and magic. I don't know if I'd be better or worse with gestures than words, but that's really interesting -- if you don't mind sharing, I'd love to learn.

Tifa, I'm happy to answer questions, otherwise I wouldn't be here!

So I talk to it, but it kind of communicates back with emotions and visions. The first time I talked to it, all it did was like scream emotions at me, this was a few months ago when it was mad a new god was inside of the Horizon. But now that it's calmed down, it has calmer vibes. It doesn't talk like a normal entity, the way we do, so I think the visions are its attempt at telling me things.

[ Tifa can't help but relate all of this with Aerith's connection to the Planet. There were times when it felt like she could talk to it too, or at least hear its cries in a way that the rest of them couldn't. ]

Are you saying that any of us could talk to it if we wanted? Or do you have to have some sort of special... I don't know, connection with it?

And what's this about a god entering the Horizon? Why was it mad about that?
