Several moons ago when we first headed into Nocwich, there was a fortune teller named Lady Elin. I'm sure many of us went to her tent to have our fortunes read. Perhaps you've forgotten what it was she said. I know divination is met with a lot of skepticism.

Would you be willing to share your fortune with me, if you remember it? I'd like to know if it relates to anything in your life, whether it be from your time before Abraxas or since being summoned.

She would say "I see" and "you hold a tie to". For me, it was 'many lost souls under the night sky' and 'old lands that find new roots'. It makes me think of my home country. Many hundreds of thousands died because of the war waged in it. The country no longer exists.

I don't want to bore you with more details, but that is my basic interpretation of it.

I don't know. Before this last month I would've thought it related to home, but I'm not so sure now with the... types of people that have put some semblance of faith into me here.

I do remember. Quite vividly. She had such a strong magic presence it surprised me.

Not sure what to say about the divination though. Mine was "I see an unfinished figure in the darkness. You hold a tie to lifelines forged at great cost."

The second part makes sense, but it's also something that she could have guessed by simply looking at me and being proficient at detecting magic. No idea what she meant with the first part.

[ Nanaue can be found sitting by a pond next to his newly fixed up barn, lazily gnawing the flesh off of a femur bone from what must have been a large forest beast. On the far, far side of the pond, are ducks that pick through the reeds for bugs and tasty aquatic plants.

Wouldn't we all. But if some of them have proven true, then I think examine the wording first. Is it vague enough for anything to fulfill that future, or is it specific?

It could be a more literal item, such as a lantern or a beacon.
But it could also be a more figurative concept, such as hope.

Honestly? Mine was kinda weird, I don't have much of a clue what it means:

'I see a sword dripping with ink. You hold a tie to the knowledge of the ages.'

I mean, I fucking love swords. I'm an excellent swordswoman. But the whole ink and knowledge thing is kinda lost on me. I've always done my best thinking with my biceps, you know?

They don't really let just anyone have one, but I can show you. They safeguard them much better than we did. That's kind of where we went wrong.

Yes, that's the name. My intent is to find if anyone's has become literally true, either by visions or actions depicting word-for-word what Lady Elin told them.

I wonder if your fortune is otherwise tied to actions in Solvunn, or relating to Solvunn, rather than in the Cities? 'Souls' feels like a more religious thematic than what I get the impression that the Cities is like, after all.
