[And so there she is, hunched casually against the bar, nursing an example of the local brewing. Only a particularly observant eye would notice her shadow— not actually inside, but occasionally glimpsed out on the street, or passing nearby. Tall, angular, bulky shoulders with an oddly-shaped head, as if wearing a hat.

Hey. [You're distinctive sir. And she? She has scars that glow in the dark, so let's just be careful in who's houses we cast stones.] So, turns out we've got a few things in common.

( He's got a keen eye, but he doesn't connect the dots. It's habit, ingrained, to track his surroundings and somebody with that stature is definitely noteworthy. He's got nothing to tie her to him yet, so that's filed neatly away into the background.

He settles into the space beside her with the familiarity of a guy who's definitely spent a solid amount of time here. )

Yeah, no kidding. I'd like to say my side involved a little less space, but I've been dealing with a surprising number of aliens lately.
