A... cosmic... whale? I don't know, I'm not a marine biologist, but it was inky black with no eyes or limbs or features, except it wasn't a whale at all, it was more like wavelengths of energy and light and color beyond human perception or comprehension simultaneously smaller than an atom and larger than all of existence, magnificent and perfect in ways no language on this or any other world could accurately describe, but all of those qualities combined most closely relate to what I could conceive of as a whale?

Or possibly a Blue Whale, now that I think about it.
