February 25, to All.
[ (Forward dated to several hours after Things have started happening, and definitely once the guard presence has increased.)
The handwriting is tidy and legible, and appearing for the first time to most people. ]
Hello. My name is Dan Heng. I may have encountered some of you on the island during the initial cataloguing and recovery efforts. [ He was one of the pencil pushers recording smaller trinkets being recovered, though he had been rather businesslike through that particular trip, and hadn't chatted much. ]
As many of you may have noticed, there is something going on besides the Ikorr's festival. I personally have heard word of a theft, but there may be more than meets the eye and it would be beneficial to pool knowledge. A databank in Horizon has been partitioned for new information storage by myself and Alyx (one of the Summoned from Thorne). We have set it up to be freely accessed by and contributed to by guest users, and the system has a function to link entries to other entries for easier navigation.
[ A explanation of where to find the databank follows. As the rest of Dan Heng's domain is closed off, the only portion accessible is through an unassuming door leading to the near-perfect recreation of the Astral Express parlor car, complete with an gorgeous, improbable and definitely fake view of the empty void of space. Put on your Poirot hats, lads! ]
All information is helpful, but any of the following may be most important:
- Accounts of events
- People you have spoken to, and what they have seen
- Items of note or clues
- Knowledge of the Ikorr or their political climate
I will remain in the Horizon to assist in adjusting or adding to entries. As this conversation is impermanent, please try to ensure that the most important information is recorded properly on the database.
[ Please come see the space library guys it's super empty in there and it needs entries. π₯Ί ]
Also, bear in mind that while a lack of information can be dangerous, so is foolhardy behavior. Do not go alone.
[ OOC: Feel free to @ me or terra on plurk (
rashoumon or
timescars) or on discord with any qs! Pepe Silvia board posting is HERE. ]
