β˜† to everyone β˜†

A moment of thy time, if I may.

My name is Urianger Augurelt and I am one of the Summoned of Thorne. Recent events concerning a most disturbing ritual hath affected us all in myriad ways, however I consider myself deeply fortunate to have recovered from mine injuries as wholly as possible.

( He's massaging the truth at this point, to be honest β€” but then that's always been a speciality of his. )

'Tis chasing sleep that hath proven itself somewhat problematic β€” try as I might with methods that I once considered tested and true. If thou hast any further remedies beyond chamomile tea, meditation, or breathing techniques, I would be most grateful to hear of them.

In return I would offer simple tarot readings, tictures and salves for ailments, or even coin if thou art in need of necessities. I am an accomplished healer, arcanist, and astrologian; if there is aught else I can offer thee in exchange for thy help, I would hear it.

My thanks.

β€” U.

[And there might have been a time in the not-so-distant past when John might have insisted on the title β€” it still feels odd to be so informal with one another so soon. But he recognizes it is ridiculous to hang onto the old ways of life, when he and Claire are perhaps the only persons here who understand it.]

It would be my honor to assist you in navigating the daunting waters of society parties, my new friend.

I think perhaps your situation might improve if you were to add to that routine. You said you have seen battle β€” what training have you had? I have often found that exhausting the body helps to quiet the mind, at the end of the day. Fencing is my own preferred poison.

I would not give up your role as healer entirely. There are those of us here who I am sure have and will benefit from it greatly, now and in times to come.

But -- yes, I think you would benefit from a bit of healthy exertion. And the company of friends, when it is warranted.
