to all:
This is probably going to sound strange, or, hell maybe it sounds stupid but bear with me. I'm not someone who's used to having any sort of... abilities. Frankly, it's not common for my people in general.
So when you use these abilities here. Is it normal to feel starved afterward? Like you could inhale an entire week's worth of rations.
If not, I'm going to start getting concerned. Feels weird enough not having an allergic reaction every time someone offers a protein bar, but this is definitely new. Little more concerning than that.

Some people don't have much of a choice. Not all of us are able to be sideline support.

So yeah - that's what we are.
We were fighting a war, back home. Yeah. We had to fight.

Sorry to hear that, too. But, no. I don't mind.
I'm not sure I've got one. Seems like pretty standard war crap from where I stand. One people gets mad at another, launches an assault, the other retaliates. Be nice if people resorted to something other than mass attacks, but, who ever gets that lucky?

[That's a 'I'm hecking tall' joke. Which would probably be better in person.]
No one ever gets that lucky. It's just a fact of life.
I'm not totally sure. Unless 'magically repelling projectiles' is a thing.

That definitely sounds like a shield - a shield out of some kind of vid, though.

Oh right. Short for "video". Stories told in moving pictures.
