to all:
This is probably going to sound strange, or, hell maybe it sounds stupid but bear with me. I'm not someone who's used to having any sort of... abilities. Frankly, it's not common for my people in general.
So when you use these abilities here. Is it normal to feel starved afterward? Like you could inhale an entire week's worth of rations.
If not, I'm going to start getting concerned. Feels weird enough not having an allergic reaction every time someone offers a protein bar, but this is definitely new. Little more concerning than that.

It's weird - my skills have always been the kind you learn, not the kind you're born with.

What's a biotic? Are they the ones who use magic in your world?
[ Are space-mages a thing? Tell him space-mages are a thing. ]

I guess it'd be considered magic. It's basically moving energy around, with your brain. Lifting things off the ground, throwing people around... really powerful biotics can make gravity wells that pull in people and objects.

[ Thank you for explaining gravity to him last time to make that even more so. ]

If you ever want to see what it's like from our world, Shepard's a great biotic in her own right. Promise she won't crush your brain with hers.
On a good day.

[ Wait, he's not actually sure he wants to hear the answer to that.
And how the hell is he supposed to know the difference between a good day and a bad day? ]

I'm mostly teasing, she wouldn't go mow someone down without a hell of a good reason. And even if she did, it'd be more likely to be with a fist.

I did get to talk to her once. I think she was talking about guns or something. I liked her, she seemed fun. Definitely the sort to drag you along into all sorts of adventures.
She's the one that has one of your ships in the Horizon, right?
no subject
Yeah, that's her. My little alcove is connected to the ship, actually.

[ Although he has no idea what your concept of 'little' is. You sail in space, after all. ]
no subject
But it's fine - it's the space I'm used to. Prefer it that way.
