to all:

This is probably going to sound strange, or, hell maybe it sounds stupid but bear with me. I'm not someone who's used to having any sort of... abilities. Frankly, it's not common for my people in general.

So when you use these abilities here. Is it normal to feel starved afterward? Like you could inhale an entire week's worth of rations.

If not, I'm going to start getting concerned. Feels weird enough not having an allergic reaction every time someone offers a protein bar, but this is definitely new. Little more concerning than that.

I'm not sure how much my knowledge applies here, but back where I come from, using magic expended energy just like an intense workout or a sparring match did, even if it was a different sort of energy. Especially when you're first learning what you're doing. Maybe think of it like flexing a new muscle you're learning how to use? So your body lets you know you need to replenish yourself pretty loudly.

Look, I was born with a type of magic and this stuff STILL confuses me, so you're not alone there. I tend to stick with the skills I've learned, too. They seem more... predictable.

What's a biotic? Are they the ones who use magic in your world?

That sounds... terrifying, actually.

[ Thank you for explaining gravity to him last time to make that even more so. ]

Well, at least you've got plenty of examples to follow - or avoid - while you're learning your own magic here?

...and on a bad day?

[ Wait, he's not actually sure he wants to hear the answer to that.

And how the hell is he supposed to know the difference between a good day and a bad day? ]

[ That reminds him more of Felix, except he used swords. ]

I did get to talk to her once. I think she was talking about guns or something. I liked her, she seemed fun. Definitely the sort to drag you along into all sorts of adventures.

She's the one that has one of your ships in the Horizon, right?

You just have an alcove?

[ Although he has no idea what your concept of 'little' is. You sail in space, after all. ]
