Now that I've had some time to adjust to the Free Cities at large and the maelstrom of constant chaos that tends to permeate our current whereabouts I think it may be time to make myself known.

I'm Castiel. Cas, to some.

I've been told that this isn't my first time here, and so if I forgot you or certain events from my prior stay I apologize. We'll have to begin anew.

I believe I've met a few of you that I had prior interactions with, some during the extent of whatever magic was bringing on those evocations.

But we don't have to talk about that. I'd prefer it if we didn't.

What a curious note. Well, I'll have to find it somewhere in myself to not be deeply troubled you have forgotten our long-lasting and deep bond over hats, of which you wore very fashionably. A new lesson is in order! (Do not listen to Dean's advice on hats. We both agreed he is not knowledgeable about such things, and will in fact possibly give you terrible fashion advice in return.)

I've been briefed about some of our past.

I'm afraid I still don't know much, or even what type of hat it was.

Oh, worry not. I have all the time in the world to teach you once again! It was a very fine feathered hat, colored teal. You had the length of the feather perfectly right. Both fabulous and eye-catching!

[Obviously this skill is about the most impressive thing Castiel's done that he knows of. Outside of carrying the fish in his pocket. No one is mentioning that probably to be kind.]

Dean said it was stupid and that you aren't to be trusted with fashion suggestions.

Still, I wouldn't be against seeing it. Dean's made some questionable choices himself with regard to fashion and popular culture.

With a serape, I believe.

I then remind you of how we discussed that Dean is not to be trusted with fashion. I've seen how the man dresses in his own space. It leaves... quite a lot to be desired. It's as if he's allergic to pastels.

Ooh, serape. That sounds fun, actually. What is it?

I prefer earth tones but Dean's livelihood is centered around bargain bin fashion, it's unfair to compare him to someone more well-versed.

A blanket that can be worn.

[Oh, good. He's one of those types. Who just... says things, of which Jaskier has no idea what they mean.]

I do not know what that means, exactly, but I know one gets what they pay for, and bargain is typically another term for "a swindle."

[Earth tones. Ugh. At least it's a color aside from black, but... black is still more fashionable.]

That sounds rather comfortable! But, on the other hand, rather... frumpy.

Somewhat. Items are sold in bulk, at a "reasonable price."

A serape woolen, so I think it's more warm than comfortable. It looked quite coarse, and frumpy.
