A bit chaotic with new folks. There are heavy windstorms from the earthquake, we have to help people get out of unsafe homes, and there was an entire collapse at one of the orphanages.

Damn, that's nowhere close to the fun kind of trouble. Thorne's been dealing with some issues related to rainstorms as well so it's dire everywhere, I suppose.

Make sure Sylvain doesn't exhaust himself trying to help, will you?

This is a clusterfuck. I'm surprised any of us did end up where we supposed to, but there seems to be no rhyme or reason.

You and me both since I would've guessed whatever's going on would send everyone to somewhere else. The more I think about it the more I'm surprised something like this hasn't happened with the portals before given we use them often enough, though perhaps it's more like something else has aligned that we don't know about.

There's too much at risk here, in all seriousness, and not just because I have the delight of being a Thorne resident. I plan on looking around but not at the cost of making it unsafe for those who'll return once the portals are open.

If they try to, you won't be alone in pushing back against him going back if that's not what he wants. I don't think the nations will be so quick to force it this time when there's more at risk with whatever's going on here. Plus you can't tell me the Free Cities wouldn't be quick to offer a Summoned from either Thorne or Solvunn a place to stay.

I agree, they'd want more of us under their thumb. We've always had the most anyway.

All the more reason for them to not let us go if it comes down to that. [ Which isn't reassuring but a reality they need to address all the same, and Claude exhales a sigh to himself. Even though we're outnumbered, I have a hard time believing it'd come down to that. We've made friends elsewhere too, after all.
