Greetings Solvunn, and welcome to any newly arrived Summoned. There are a few things of note I wish to share with you all.

Firstly: if you are a member of Aloy's patrol, your sending spell on your token may need refreshed. If you are a Summoned interested in joining, I suggest seeking out the woman herself. If you can find her.
Secondly: we are still cleaning up after the arrival of the Heralds, and I suspect that the coming months will only see more bloodshed. I am seeking individuals who wish to learn funeral rights, both on behalf of Zalyshyty and Vagn. The Secondary Settlement especially is seeking able bodies who will tend to the dead domesticated animals that still remain. I am more than willing to teach what you will need to know, either there or in the shop I help tend, "The Healing Leaf" in the Primary Settlement. Don't be concerned about the undead starfish in the latter location, he's harmless and stays in his jar. For the most part.
And lastly: for those of you have created pacts with the gods here, I would appreciate any thoughts on the matter you might have.

Nothing too strenuous. The woods are dangerous, and keeping the more adventurous monsters at bay is a way to keep the locals and other Summoned safe. If you can fight, you'd be welcome.

Hi, Haelva. I don't think we've been formally introduced, and I'm sorry to do it like this rather than in person, but I'm Tifa. Aloy told me about the patrol group and I've been trying to help when I can, but I think I may have missed a few steps.

What's this about a sending spell and a token?

A pleasure, Tifa. Did Aloy give you a token to indicate your membership? I've been attaching a sending spell to it, which allows for an individual to send out a message once if they find themselves in danger.

A sort of distress call? That's a good idea. I didn't even realize there were spells that could do that sort of thing.

We talked about the patrol group when we were all trapped in that ritual site, so she couldn't give me a token. I'll ask her for one now, though, and then maybe I can track you down to cast this spell?

You can, though I'm afraid there's not much to it. A young man who was once here brought it back to me, and it was fresh enough that reanimating it was easy enough. So now it remains in a jar for lack of anywhere else for it to go.

Not just to starfish, but I do not make a habit of forcing souls into corpses. The dead should rest in whatever afterlife they go to, but the body remains a tool to be used by those who turn their eye to the study of necromancy. Someone like myself, that is.

And how can you be certain the soul has moved on to rest? Is that something a necromancer can do too?
