to all; post-event

Are YOU used to angels being real? Please think Yes/No/Biblically/what's an angel responses directly to me so cranky people don't threaten other people's livelihoods again.

For the same reason humans aren't called featherless bipeds. Because they're called humans.

We're not gods.

[ he is just so lost in this conversation. ]

I don't know anyone named Hazel.

I'm on my way. Where are you?

I know you're fine. It doesn't matter. I'm still coming.

Well now this walks into the territory of theology and frankly, that was never a particular area of interest for me growing up, nor something my father collected books in.

It's okay. I'll find you.

I don't know much about it, but I thought the lady Diana here had something to do with something Greek. Might be she does not.

Can you tell me more of Joan of Arc?

I don't know what an encyclopaedia is, either. Like a maester, a learned man? The world I come from is nothing like most of what I see in the Horizon. It's more like this place, though there is less magic and less call to believe that magic is real.

They killed a girl for wearing pants? Sounds mad. Less mad that they'd want to kill someone who led an army. Did the French army falter after that? It would not surprise me if they did, if they had no one to follow who they believed in. You cannot expect your men to bleed for you if you will not bleed for them.

I mean there are like three of them here, so...

If they were real back home, I never saw one.

Not in a "yeah they live here" (as opposed to "cool plot device in my former religion's backstory") way. I'm sure a few people in the church I grew up in would swear to you they've been visited by one, though.

But then I'm not used to the kids of gods being real in a "'they live here' and not 'cool plot device in my former religion's backstory' way", to be blunt. Or a lot of other things I'm wrestling with at the moment, no angel pun intended.

So what do I know. You know?

The crazy thing is that you could be referring to several different people.

[...Well, you got him there. On second thought, Lucifer and Istredd don't quite fit the bill, and honestly he doesn't know that much about either of Lucifer's brothers.]
Actually...idk.

But the Greek gods are real where you're from, right? It's weird that you wouldn't have angels and stuff too.

No, no problem.

I'm friends with Will. Wilhelm.

Oh. I guess that makes sense. Does that mean there's a different version of the world where each different creation story is true?
