[ By now, Claire has a grasp on how communicating with others works, and after writing out her thoughts to be sure she knows exactly what she'd like to send, she sits back in her chair. Her handwriting of choice is neat and slightly slanted. ]

[ She's also proud of you for doing this, having some idea now of how Solvunn reminds her of home. ]
I've just spoken with Councilmember Rowan and assured me that whatever resources are necessary to help in bringing back our friends would be granted. If you've a place in mind I don't see why your request to set up an infirmary would be denied.
Maeve and Declan may be able to donate some fabrics as well, though it will be sheep wool for the most part. Would that work?

I don't know yet what the rescue attempt might look like when we pinpoint the location, my partner and I are refining our technology, but it is possible having trained medical professionals nearby would be essential. Just to put that in the back of your mind.

I am a hunter, myself— Petra Macneary, of the Free Cities— but much of what you have said are things we apply in the field at home.
It is good to know of another person to call on should things be getting further out of hand.
I will be doing my part, and spreading the word of your offer regarding the Horizon.
When we are able to finally rescue those who have been taken from us, I am sure we are going to be needing every pair of hands we can get when it comes to tending to injuries.

I'm also an herbalist, and I have some things you may not have access to in Solvunn. For pain killing, for cleaning wounds and keeping out infection, for keeping a patient's vitals up in cases of shock and blood loss, for sedating....
If you need any supplies, I'll see what I can do to get them to you. I have connections in Nocwich that I may be able to utilize.

private. later on in week 2, lmk if you'd prefer not to get this!
One of the kidnapped contacted me in Horizon. He was covered in lesions and strange plant-like growths. He wasn't acting like himself.
I hope this warning to you is for nothing, and that what I saw was only a side effect of whatever is keeping them from contacting us through Horizon.
But your healers should prepare themselves for wounds that may need something beyond physical treatment.
