[ For anyone who would like to visit Claire in the Horizon, she'll be there within at least twenty minutes. She's molded her space to look like Lallybroch, to the best of her ability. She's open and willing to teach whatever medical practices she can. Always, she's taken her oath to help others, no matter what, seriously. Being forced to live on a star in some unknown part of the universe doesn't change that.

She's also available to generally chat if wanted. Breaks for tea are welcome, even if the conversation takes turns toward the upsetting. She may not know many others, but she's here just the same. ]

Hello Dr. Fraser, I'm Jayce Talis from Free Cities. I leaned toward magical healing training and some medical school while here, and my friend Nadine is a skilled herbalist and medic. I'll talk with her about setting up something like this in Cadens, the city might have plans of their own.

I don't know yet what the rescue attempt might look like when we pinpoint the location, my partner and I are refining our technology, but it is possible having trained medical professionals nearby would be essential. Just to put that in the back of your mind.

We had a lot of first-hand experience after the bombing of Libertas a few months back. I think it's wise to be overly cautious and expect the worst in this situation so we will be ready. We are working hard on the tracking tech upgrades right now, so I do think the healers should be prepared to be support for whatever rescue may end up happening. Finding them may only be a part of the problem if the people keeping them plan on fighting back.

Yes, I'm afraid so. About five-six months ago. After the diplomatic meeting in Nocwich, the first week it opened, there was an attack made on our Summoned delegates from each place. One of Thorne's mages was killed. Thorne believed the Free Cities were responsible so they magically bombed the city of Libertas here in Free Cities. Many of us have been working hard on rebuilding it since, but it was devastated by the attack.

Free Cities retaliated by burning crops in Thorne which may have caused starving, again among innocents, we seemed on the verge of war, and then there was a meditation in Luna about two months ago. While peace wasn't exactly declared, we came off of it with less aggression. And then this happened.

From what I've heard about Solvunn, they're the least developed of the kingdoms. The Free Cities is, at least science and technologically speaking, the most advanced. I'm from Earth, and if you are also it's sort of like the late Victorian era only they figured out things like germ theory and proper anesthesia a lot earlier.

Which means we don't have penicillin, but we do have tonics and salves to kill off infections of all variety. And good surgical tools.
