[ While he doesn't really like or trust mass broadcasting like this, he's gotten to a point of frustration where he's throwing some amount of caution to the wind: ]
In Thorne there isn't much useful information recorded about their gods, at least not in the castle.
Considering recent events - anyone else having luck in their research? The mirror, the poison berry - have these symbols appeared before?
[ He knows he's not the only one that's been looking for information. ]

Still blissfully unaware that the child is hanging out with the devil]How come?
[ asks the curious fanatic. ]

That's how I feel about the stranger stories, anyway.
Well, until I arrived here.

What would you do if you, like, actually met someone from one of those stories here? Like your god or whatever.
[Belatedly, he realizes...Lucifer might be able to read this. But he is choosing to not give a fuck.]

If it was my god that I met in the flesh, I would offer my life and service to Him.

[ He also watched him for a decade, so there's that. ]

But wouldn't you wonder why he never bothered to appear to you before now?
switching this over to private
He has two aspects. In His mortal form he wouldn't know Himself. So no, not really and that's not who we pray to, anyway.
What would you do if you met your god?

[He thinks for a moment.]
I'm not sure, honestly. I guess I would have a lot of questions.

Stuff like that.
[But also, respectfully, what the fuck?]

[ It's not really something that he thinks about. Nayeshi is called paradise, but it's a real, physical place - and it's not filled with the souls of Basawar's dead. ]

There's no afterlife in your religion?

I've always believed in death as a release. A peaceful void. The priests don't really speak of it more than that. Maybe the soul eventually returns to the land, to god.
[ It would be nice to believe that after that he would be joined with his sister again, but that's just an idle hope. ]
I've heard that a soul can be obliterated. A strong enough curse can swallow it whole, leaving nothing behind.

I know it doesn't really make sense scientifically, but there's a lot we don't understand, so
I guess it's just reassuring to think that when people die, they aren't really gone.

I lost my little sister some years ago. I should have protected her, but I wasn't there. Every day I wish I could speak with her one more time.
[ The trouble with regaining your memories. Can't pick and choose between the good and the bad, it all comes back together. ]

I'm sorry.
I know what you mean. My brother
I wish I could talk to him all the time.

He's older.
[He's probably supposed to say was, but is is still true to him. It would be for a few more years.]

I'm sorry.
