Okay, never mind. Anyway, I was wondering about a few things.

1. So...I sort of accidentally set my bed on fire. Like, with just my hands. If it wasn't already obvious, this is a new thing for me. Is this the Singularity's way of telling me to go burn something down? It's fine now, by the way. I put it out. I'm still freaking out though, so if anyone has tips on how to avoid accidentally committing arson...I'd appreciate it.

2. Everyone made a big deal about these arcana signs, but I don't really get the point of them. What do they actually mean? What are they for?

3. What does anyone do for fun around here?

Most decidedly not. I learned about television when I was in another's Horizon domain.

We have live theatre, and of course books, which are generally relied on for entertainment of the story-telling variety. That and bard performances.

So you were able to watch TV there? Maybe I just need to keep trying. I'm new to the whole "creating stuff with your mind" thing.

Not in the slightest. Why would it be a joke? Granted, some of them can be a bit over the top with it...

To be fair, we did not watch for long at all before we switched to something else. A video game, I believe it was called. Something to do with carts? It was a race.

It's just that bards aren't a thing anymore where I'm from. They stopped being a thing, like, hundreds of years ago probably.

It's hard to imagine bards falling out of fashion to that degree. Did people simply tire of them?

Better options came around, I guess. Nobody wants to sit around listening to someone sing about some old battle or whatever for hours, when you could watch a movie about it instead or go to a concert.

I suspect that bards could put on concerts and sing about things other than old battles, but yes, I see your point.

In any case, I suspect that learning to control and wield your newfound power may take up a good chunk of your time now.

Yeah, that should keep me busy. I hope it's more like working out than studying. That wouldn't be so bad.
