To All
I've never done a public message like this before, so I hope I'm doing it right.
My name is Nadine Cross, some of you know me already. I've recently come to the Free Cities and set up in Cadens. I'm a practicing herbologist, an amateur healer, and a student at the Cadens Academy of Medicine. And I'm available to offer patching up, potions, and other medical assistance to any of us in the Free Cities.
I'm not a doctor, I'm still learning and I have a LOT to learn, but I can handle things like bleeding wounds and burns and minor broken bones. I don't charge since I need the practice anyway, and I figure there's plenty of reasons that people like us would prefer not to have to go to a local -from discretion to expense.
But I hope you don't need my services too much.
Thank you.

It sounds like you might as well be one.
[Shuten-Douji here is having fun with this world's version of networking and being able to see all sorts of messages appearing within her vision, mostly on the walls of the castle. It has been quite amusing; and hey, might as well test it out.]
Are you very experienced in tending to the injured?
no subject
I wouldn't say VERY experienced, but I do have experience. I've patched a few nasty wounds. And all of my patients have survived.
no subject
How cute!
I'm sure you'll find more challenging work as time moves forward here.
Though I suppose it may be better if there were fewer injured and sick people?
Quite the conundrum!
no subject
I'd prefer if people weren't getting hurt, but at least if they are, I can do something to help. And why not? New world, new life, new career.

But you know, I don't hate that.
[And it's true; Shuten is a fun-loving and merry, not dour, and someone who puts others down at a moment's notice, oddly enough.
She's a monster, not a party-pooper. Big difference there.]
Sounds like you work with more traditional methods and materials, however.
No experience with the more magically inclined I take it?
no subject
And I do. I practice academic magic, but a lot of the healing stuff is beyond my capabilities for now. And I'm not sure how much magic the academy teaches. But someday...

You can only go up from here.
A lot of nasty monsters out there as well as nasty folks from each faction.
You'll become an expert in patching up in no time, magic or not.
no subject
I have a suspicion you're very right about that.

I like getting along with others believe it or not
[Her idea of getting along is a bit twisted, but well. We're all lucky with what we get from Shuten.]
I do hope to get along with you as well.
You sound quite sweet what, with offering your skills like that.

Are you here in the Free Cities?
no subject
I'm just seeing if any of these places know what real fun is.
As for me, I'm in Thorne! If they ever make travel a bit more accessible you'll find me out and about the castle.
no subject
I used to be in Thorne. I avoid it these days.
no subject
Had a bad experience, dear?
Do tell.
[For Shuten, she likes space, grandness, and lavishness and Thorne offers that all to her for free and more. The actual politics though? Well, apathy would probably best describe it since she's basically mooching, let's be real.]
