[ Jesper has slept in streets before and he was planning on doing that in Cadens if he had to, but he lucked into the inn and has no real problem helping out in exchange for room for now. He's still trying to figure out how to get a gun and actual work, but it's all a process. While he can seem like a very lazy and indolent sort of young city man, he was born a farm boy and is comfortable doing labor, even if it's just busting tables or sweeping up. He's already made friends easily with the staff.
