There is a military coup happening in Thorne. Admiral Sidwell has made a play for the crown that seems to be succeeding. The Summoned are currently being evacuated into safe rooms along with natives.

I thought this information best to be shared with all Summoned.

There is a city in the Free Cities that has been quarantined from the rest of it for a long time now due to an infectious disease. It's probable that he knew the best way to shake them was through similar warfare, given that they otherwise have a very strong military base. I hope that everyone remains safely in their evacuation locations until it's sussed out.

I don't know if he has access to whatever that disease is, what I am saying is that if I were to unsettle a nation with a solid military, using its historical trauma would be almost worse than a direct attack. It's a vulnerability. He may be using it only as a scare tactic, hard to say until those in the Free Cities get details about what they are facing.

I suspect he has been working on this for quite some time. Like it or not, on the other side of this we will still be in the castle, and more Summoned will be taken needing help.

Yes, I've been learning the local magic for nearly two years, and I have trained for over sixty in my own sphere.
