One of the things I've felt most fortunate about my time here is that I get the opportunity to meet so many people from so many different places. And I know I'm not alone in that!

Some of us has been here for a few summers while others only a moon or so, and it's not always easy when we have malms and mountains between us. But one of the best ways to understand where someone comes from is through what they like to eat. Right?

So, Alucard and I have a proposal! This could be the opportunity to create the first universe-wide cookbook. So if you have something to contribute from your world, whether it's your favorite dish, an old family recipe, or just something that you think is a staple to show off your culture's palette, let us know!

Here's an example:

Kaki Zōsui
World: Etheirys
Region: Ruby Sea
Town: Sui-no-Sato (adapted)

• 15 oysters
• 2 bowls of steamed rice
• 3.5 oz enoki mushrooms (halved)
• 2 green onions (chopped)
• 2 dodo eggs (optional)
• 1 sheet of nori (seaweed, thinly chopped)
• 4 cups dashi soup
• 3 tbsp soy sauce
• dash salt

Wash the steamed rice and strain to remove the stickiness. Put dashi and soy sauce in a saucepan and bring to boil. Add enoki mushrooms.

When the dashi mixture boils, add rice and oysters, then cook for 5 minutes on low. (If you are using eggs, now is the time to beat them in a separate bowl.)

Add a dash of salt, (and beaten eggs), then green onion. Turn off the heat, cover, and let the soup stand for 3-4 minutes

Serve in a bowl with sprinkled nori!

And if you've got no clue about the specifics of your recipe, maybe just let us know what it's supposed to taste or look like? I'm sure Alucard and I can figure something out. Have you tried his hand pies? They will change your life!

theoretically, i wouldn't be able to tell if you were wrong or lying about anything anyway, so all information is admissible. thank you for accepting my inquiry.

1. why was it up to the loporrits to feed everyone?
2. did you also flee your star or was it just the loporrits?
3. what caused the end of days? is it appropriate to assume your days have continued since then?
4. is eorzea where you were before you came here?
5. are there other deities in the eorzean pantheon?

I've been told I'm a pretty bad liar, so I figure that will be the same in written form too. Don't worry!

1. The loporrits were given the duty of stewarding all the peoples of Etheirys. They also made our clothes and living quarters and piloted the moon.

2. Everyone was supposed to, the loporrits were there to receive us and help us leave. They waited thousands upon thousands of years for it too!

3. It's a bit of a long story...but essentially an existential crisis in our far past that caused the split of Etheirys into several shards that would eventually fall to the literal manifestation of despair until all life in the universe was wiped out. But yes, we were able to avoid that.

4. Eorzea is a large continent on Etheirys. I spent quite a bit of time there over the last several, but I'm originally from the Ruby Sea.

5. There are twelve! They're known as the Twelve.

i'm glad your universe didn't fall into the literal manifestation of despair. if your cookbook becomes a best seller, would you consider writing a world mythologies encyclopedia next?

As am I! I'm not sure if we would be able to meet today if that were the case.

Oh, do you think people would like that?

[ They are not and, let's be real, Himeka is not the best writer. She is going to focus on all the wrong things. But it would, at least, be a...colorful. Edition. ]
