I need people in Thorne and Solvunn to ask around if anyone's seen monsters like this. I'm doing it on our end. Vines for the face and for the legs, sticks on their back. It also "moves on its hands and with the vines to drag it. It can be burned at least enough to make it turn tail."

Ask the guards or whoever would have interacted with monsters, hunters if you've got them. This thing is in that place with them, it attacked a friend of mine. Maybe it's a clue as to their location.

That kind of creature is not familiar with what exists here.

I was told unknown creatures can be made through rituals and magic. Using transformative magic, on an already existing object or being.

It's not part of Solvunn's traditions. Only Old Gods should have the power to choose what new beings enter the world.

Yes. It is possible they've used living beings to create it.
