There's a deep-sea monster in the lake.

A dosarak, apparently. It's been there for about two to three weeks.

We didn't get... much closer. Not sure if someone put it there to hide something in the lake or...

Not on the maps but that doesn't mean there isn't something connecting below. We weren't able to get a closer read, unfortunately. Our 'babysitter' from Thorne was a mite too freaked out when they watched the fisherman we were with become the thing's meal.

Unfortunately, it was a little after one of the Summoned was taken from us. I had a... I'm not sure what you call it. The man I bought it from called it an eavesdropping stone, which is fair enough. I heard what happened as she was taken. There was the sound of water, and very few words, and then... this sound, like a giant creature's shriek. I've never heard anything like it.
