Hi. This is Sophia...not really speaking. Thinking? Projecting words into your unsuspecting eyes. I think? This is quite something.

I won't bother you much with my shock and awe about finding myself in a new place. I'm sure there's enough people experiencing the same things than me in your close vicinity. Help them, if you would. I'm sure they will appreciate it.

My reason to send this message is to offer my own help, in one way or another. Back in my world I was finally getting settled into what I had decided to call Dream Therapy. Basically, I can help you dwell into whatever issues you have and find positive, healthy ways to deal with them.

In your dreams. Weird, I know.

I've found that it's easier to visualize and deal with things one feel and think when you can make the issues literally show themselves. Ultimately it's all symbolic of course, but the learning one makes from it it's real indeed.

We can also just talk it out wide awake, I have some training in the more normal type of stuff.

Goodness, this has taken all too much space already. I'll just leave it at that. I don't really need payment of any sort, by the way. Just knowing I'm doing my part is enough.

Anyway, do let me know if you ever need something along those lines. Or if you just want to talk. I feel like I will have much free time for a while.

Have you advertised these services in person to those in Thorne, Summoned and natives alike?

I don't plan to limit the offer to Thorne only, and I am not actively looking to promote this extensively. I rather start small, see if I can do good, and then think if I want to actually do a more active work at finding people. It would feel too much like trying to force it on others otherwise.

As for the natives... I don't know what to think of it. Maybe at a later time, but at the same time, I don't need unwanted attention.

How is it over there? I understand relations between the factions are suffering.

Solvunn is fine. The tension is between the Free Cities and Thorne.

Is it seen as okay for individuals to have the abilities that you have in the world you are from?

I see. At least it's not widespread yet.

[ Sophia can sense Wanda isn't precisely approving of her offer, but she can't put her finger on exactly why... other than the usual "it's too careless" reasons she has heard before. ]

Okay is a very interesting word.

Many different folk can be found within the supernatural community. Not many can do what I can, because there aren't many of my kind.

The general consensus is that so long nobody disrupts order, it should be okay. It would do me no good to take advantage of my abilities, nor would I have a better life than the one I already do if I did.

I'm getting the impression that maybe things don't work like this where you're from.

It's not quite the 'where I'm from' that worries me at the moment. Someone who can delve into the minds of others isn't exactly seen with admiration. It is reason enough to distrust them. Your intentions may be good and you may never actually go into someone's mind and dreams without their consent, but how would they really know?

[this sounds like a washed-out version of whatever speech steve and natasha gave her when she first joined the avengers. ugh—]

And people with terrible intentions would love to take advantage of your ability or the way it can paint you as as an individual. Be more selfish about who gets to know about what you can do. At least with the natives in Thorne.

It's just a piece of advice. It is up to you what you do with it.

Distrust is a common thing. I admit I haven't experienced much of it, not yet, but I won't pretend people could easily see me that way. Unfortunately I don't have a decisive answer to that question. I do hope I can find someone with similar abilities, it would be nice (and convenient) to know someone that can relate to my experiences.

[ This isn't an easy thing to read, but Sophia appreciates the honesty. She wasn't expecting only good reactions, but still, this stings a little. It also makes her want to be even better. ]

The way Thorne handles its businesses...I don't think I want to offer them any more power. I didn't come here to conquer and control. If I'm here against my will, I'll try to do as much good as possible.

I'm sorry, I know I sound a bit silly and naïve.

Like I said, it is just advice.

Just know that not everyone has as pure intentions as you do. And with us being summoned to a place where the people here have their fair share of secrets to keep secrets, admitting to this could easily net you some enemies among some folk.

I must admit, the way this world works...I don't agree with it. I don't have plans to become a pawn in someone else's war. There's too much I don't know yet, though.

Then educate yourself first. There are plenty of Summoned in Thorne who could fill you in on the details.

In any case, a bit of skepticism towards the intent of others won't hurt.
