Blood is an inherent part of ritual and witchcraft in my world. It's not surprising to hear the same as much is true here. I would say blood rituals aren't inherently dark, but there's always exceptions.

I don't know if I would call it witchcraft. I haven't encountered native witches in my time in Solvunn, though I'm sure one could argue mages are just a subset of it. Still, missing families and individuals can be concerning when you know that shrines react favorably to blood.
