[ While he doesn't really like or trust mass broadcasting like this, he's gotten to a point of frustration where he's throwing some amount of caution to the wind: ]

In Thorne there isn't much useful information recorded about their gods, at least not in the castle.

Considering recent events - anyone else having luck in their research? The mirror, the poison berry - have these symbols appeared before?

[speaking of]

As against minor deities as I am, I think it would be a good time to throw up a ritual space in Thorne to commune with the gods just to see what would happen, since Thorne seems so... perhaps not against it, but...

I don't, but my roommate might.

[he's not about putting names on the network, and Kyle knows who he rooms with]

Oh, I suppose. "Safety First" and all that.

But even if we didn't it would certainly keep the queen distracted from another firebombing.

[is he joking? it's anyone's guess]

["I lost track of how many pagan gods I killed" probably isn't the right answer here]
Several that aren't in this world. They seemed to think they deserved a cut of my Father's creation, like they mattered at all to the grand scheme of the cosmos.

It's...

I don't know.

An enigma, even to me.

What? It's a perfectly valid argument.

It will put everyone here in danger, not just the queen. Big picture.

I want to know if she can fight a so-called god.

[personal profile] magicalarchaeologist 2022-11-14 11:52 pm (UTC)(link)
It will be an extremely short fight, her only power is in blood and wealth. A god isn't going to stop there.

By "her" I mean whoever of hers that cast the meteor spell.

Obviously.

I think it'd make things interesting. Implode Thorne so they can't raze the countryside and all that. Fewer casualties; isn't that what people want, if they can't get peace? The greater good and all that.

Imploding Thorne would also cause quite a lot of innocent lives to be lost or destroyed, that's not the ideal ending for anything. We're not intentionally wracking havoc, Lucifer.

Wards yes, but I agree we will want a banishing spell.

I would recommend if there is a way to get an sacred item of theirs that has been blessed in Solvunn. It would not be difficult to transfer through Nocwich, it shouldn't raise any alarm bells if it's a simple object. Banishment would require a direct connection to their power source to use.

Well I would hope we're not in a hurry to try to commune with unknown gods without getting more information or access. It doesn't need to be now.

I think what that proved is that all the wards we've done can't protect us. If they were using the Singularity's power and its connection to us, that doesn't bode well for the future.
