Hello you lot! A few of us have been talking for a long time about the possibility of making our own colony in Abraxas, sick of the way the territories used us and inevitably as we know now, turned on us. It wasn't very feasible before as long as we were stuck within, but that's no longer the case. Those of us who are in the Feywilds now found that the Fey abandoned their land and Elizabeth, the lass here who helped us, promises that the Fey have left for good. She closed the door herself to their other land, they can't come back.
That left us with an entire territory where no one is in charge. There are buildings, homes, businesses, and an entire infrastructure set up for a community that is now gone. We think we can create an official Summoned home base in this land and make it our own.
We’re well aware that for many of us, our concerns currently lie with the Singularity’s continued expansion. We’ve no desire to detract from that concern or the efforts being made to address it… but I’d wager that there are some who feel as if their potential contributions might be limited at best.
If your skills lie primarily within the bounds of the mundane, or if you find that you aren’t busy enough already — we have need of you. Anyone who can hunt, gather, garden, cook, barter, sew… The list goes on. If you haven’t an idea of what you might do, I’m more than certain we can find something of use for you. You can speak to Jesper or myself as you see fit.
We’re also looking for a volunteer or two to speak with Nocwich, see if they might be interested in an agreement with us. [ Neither of them are on BAD terms with Nocwich but someone else would definitely be a better call for Reasons. ]
I can’t guess at what comes after this business with the Singularity is settled, or if there’ll be an after at all, but if there’s a future to be had for us… I’d like for it to be a better one. One that we’re prepared to meet.
The Fey were able to live independently here for a thousand years or something. We can do the same. If we can trade with the Nether and Nocwich we won't need the help of the others and good luck to them trying to come back here to take us. This could be our fresh start. Who's with us?

You know Free Cities and Thorne, at least, probably aren't gonna take this sitting down... And I know, I'm a soldier, I took a vow of service. But given the circumstances...
It's always best to have a backup plan. This sounds like a hell of a backup plan, if we can secure it.

But we're gonna need more than just fifty-odd Summoned to make this work, Jesper. We're gonna need people who just wanna do organizing, people who can make and enforce the rules, patrol the borders, manage trade. Is this is going to work for more than a couple years, we need a civilian population. Especially if Istredd is right about where this might be going for some of us.
Godhood's all well and good, but you can't build a community on the backs of people who keep waiting to see if they're going to achieve nirvana. And I know we're not the only ones who're sick of getting jerked around by zealots and politicians.

how do you know she's telling you the truth?

I know it's not a perfect possibility but this is just the start, the building blocks. We're not going BACK to our territories after what they did. Nocwich and the Nether may be willing to let people stay there indefinitely, so people who want to stick to those places can, but this is our chance to build our own place.

[She has no claim to any part of what he's become, but Shepard's still proud of him. This was what had become, of that jaded Hyena she once met on the streets of Cadens.]
I need to talk to a couple of people, but put me down as being in support. Garrus will back you too, if I know him at all. I just wanna make sure we do this right; it's easy to say you'll fix problems later, but what we need to do is start as we mean to go forward. No shortcuts. No compromises. Got that?

That, and she currently is feeling a little useless. She has no idea where to start with the threat of the Singularity, but she does have some of the skills they're asking for.
As much as she still doesn't like the idea of assuming they're all stuck here... ]
Hello, Jesper and Cid.
We haven't met, but I'm Tifa. Normally I'm in Solvunn, but right now I'm in Nocwich.
I'd like to help, if I can. I hate sitting on my hands. So if there's something I can do from here, I'd be happy to give it a try.

How did the Fey manage to leave? What kind of door, or gate?

[ So of course Jesper took over that dream for her and he's been working on it ever since. To get this close is like being close to her again. ]
Got it. I could use all the help I can get to make this real.

But seriously you should come.

If you can find out what they'd most want, that would help us understand what we might want to prioritize. We won't have much to offer until we've established ourselves.

There is a complicating factor that you should keep in mind though, if my memory serves correctly. I believe at least a portion of the Feywilds used to be a part of Nocwich itself, and the conflict between the Fey and the nightfolk of Nocwich caused shrunken borders and conflict between Luna and Ikorr.
They may have strong feelings about intent.

Are you familiar with the Nether's leadership already? I might have asked you if I'd known.

What sort of thing did you do back home? Or, if you weren't too keen on your old job, what skills do you think you can put to use?

Jesper's spoken to Elizabeth about the Feywilds; the fey chose it because they wanted to keep out of the disputes between the territories. It's difficult for them to get to.

[ He was surprised they were willing to harbor them at all, though he's willing to trust them in return. ]
I can't offer much assistance, but I'm glad you've both found this opportunity.

If you're asking for my resume!

[ Thancred's not just here to give them a hard time, though. While his intention is to return home if there's ever the option to do so, knowing that this will be an opportunity for any Summoned who have decided to remain is still a relief. ]
I have a great deal of experience when it comes to survival techniques. [ Jesper has seen this firsthand. ] More than that, I spoke with Elizabeth and received some instructions and reading material regarding what is safe to forage in these woods. I can start work on putting together food stores for those who opt to remain here, along with anything else you might need.

[ Cassian has his...reservations about this loosely based on personal experience. Not that either of these two would know anything about that nor is he particularly inclined to share but it's worth asking the question. ]

I don't make losing bets, Jesper. When this happens, we'll name something after her. There's no if here, not on my watch.

[ Perhaps a bit of a pipe dream, since they can't exactly defend this territory on their own if the Free Cities or Thorne decide to come after them seriously, but... She likes the idea. Even if only to give them something to do. ]
As I'm here and not doing much anyway, I'll help with whatever you need on the ground, Jesper.

I think it’s, absolutely, better to have our own place. A community…where we can all be together, in the real world, for long stretches. And if we need to — to organize, or negotiate based on what’s best for our own interest instead of being… Well, split up and wielded, not to put too fine a point on it.
So if you need boots on the ground or an extra pair of hands, I’m here for it. Honestly, I’d love to talk about what you’re imagining. Doesn’t have to be A Planning Session, could just be a stroll.
