Oh, yes! Onomatopoeia. It hadn't occurred to me that simply wishing them away would work, but I suppose there's no reason why it wouldn't given nothing else makes sense about having wings.

I hope it doesn't come to that any time soon. While I'm no slouch, I'd really prefer to avoid anything more than a few scuffles with bandits and mercenaries.
