In truth, I don't think Thorne is ever happy. But I don't have any positive feelings towards them, so I am probably not the best person to offer further opinions.
The only time travel between the three major territories has happened was during the kidnappings, and it was all into Solvunn. Things being what they are now, I don't foresee it happening any time in the near future.
