Back when Thorne was the only territory pulling in Summoned, they threw about half of us in the dungeons. Things happened, a Summoned was set to be executed, and Oliver along with another person named Elizabeth appeared. Their powers let them both stop time and open portals to Solvunn and the Free Cities for us to escape into.
They've never been seen again. Where they came from and went has been a small question I've sat with, although as Julie has pointed out elsewhere in this discussion, it may be best to give them peace given that they've never demanded anything of us.
