One of the things I've felt most fortunate about my time here is that I get the opportunity to meet so many people from so many different places. And I know I'm not alone in that!

Some of us has been here for a few summers while others only a moon or so, and it's not always easy when we have malms and mountains between us. But one of the best ways to understand where someone comes from is through what they like to eat. Right?

So, Alucard and I have a proposal! This could be the opportunity to create the first universe-wide cookbook. So if you have something to contribute from your world, whether it's your favorite dish, an old family recipe, or just something that you think is a staple to show off your culture's palette, let us know!

Here's an example:

Kaki Zōsui
World: Etheirys
Region: Ruby Sea
Town: Sui-no-Sato (adapted)

• 15 oysters
• 2 bowls of steamed rice
• 3.5 oz enoki mushrooms (halved)
• 2 green onions (chopped)
• 2 dodo eggs (optional)
• 1 sheet of nori (seaweed, thinly chopped)
• 4 cups dashi soup
• 3 tbsp soy sauce
• dash salt

Wash the steamed rice and strain to remove the stickiness. Put dashi and soy sauce in a saucepan and bring to boil. Add enoki mushrooms.

When the dashi mixture boils, add rice and oysters, then cook for 5 minutes on low. (If you are using eggs, now is the time to beat them in a separate bowl.)

Add a dash of salt, (and beaten eggs), then green onion. Turn off the heat, cover, and let the soup stand for 3-4 minutes

Serve in a bowl with sprinkled nori!

And if you've got no clue about the specifics of your recipe, maybe just let us know what it's supposed to taste or look like? I'm sure Alucard and I can figure something out. Have you tried his hand pies? They will change your life!

Oh, you designed a theater for Jaskier? He must love that!

...Not specifically for him, but he has used it before. I don't think he'd appreciate the suggestion of being that much of an ego maniac.

I don't doubt it, but he would deserve it. His song to the Lyfbringr ais still hummed over here in the Commune. He's definitely the kind of person who could make anything a stage, but when one is made by a friend, wouldn't that make it an even better experience?

Being a friend really means nothing with regards to building things. Being good at what you're doing and knowledgeable is much more important.

Well I wish I could see this building for myself. Mayhaps someday we will be able to travel more freely across borders. It was nice having everyone visit Solvunn, even if it was under shite less than desirable circumstances.

It was right shite! But, still, my point stands. Especially now that we have a new house that we built and everything. It's really lovely, Alucard! Though if I'd known you were an architect before I would have asked for ideas.

How many stories do you think could fit on a tree?

Depends on the height and width of the tree. I couldn't stack one floor on top of the other easily, those branches would need to be very strong.

Oh, sure! It's on a big tree and it kind of goes up and around. We've got a staircase in the middle and it's 5-ish stories?

And you're looking to expand?

I'd always like a bigger kitchen. Though it kind of is right in the middle of everything...

Rocket has his own shop space on the top floor. Do you think maybe we could add a balcony area for Donut and Porridge?

How about this? Let's meet in your Horizon space. If you can create a Horizon version of it, I can try and make modifications, and then I'll write them down for you.

[ Unfortunately, Himeka also remembered the primal Titan as having armor and wheels and Leviathan with two heads. But. It will be interesting, at least! ]
