Have you been able to meet with these deities and spirits yourself? I think it's hard to define them sometimes. What we may call a god another person may call a spirit or a primal or anything in between.
Well...I'm confident we'll all return to our own worlds eventually. I can tell you what I can about what we did on ours to remove the effects of tempering. It wasn't without trial and error and lots of lives lost before we could, but...it did eventually prove true.
