I've been trying to figure out the old gods for a few summers now. I'd thought they were primals, beings born of our hopes and wishes, but...I'm not exactly sure now I can't say they're fully their own independent entities, but they DO exist. They have some purpose in this world. They have an impact on it, whether it be for good or for ill. But I believe it's kind of...neither? They just are. Much like how sadness in and of itself isn't an evil thing, but it does exist for us to experience. It's just part of life.
They may be no different than just part of nature itself. In Solvunn there is a god for nearly everything.
whoops borked my coding

But! There's really only one way to find out.
