Nothing. I have a list of everyone who was there, no discernible pattern outside of being roughly half of the Summoned. They probably were looking for any of us who they could snatch outside of the grounds, but it didn't seem to matter what species or power level we were either.
They did manage to snag a few people when they went looking for their friends, so they were clearly waiting for other opportunities. We weren't all captured the same day.
