I'm not sure if it is active censorship or disdain for areas that do not fit their ideology - they show remarkably little curiosity about non academic magic. I am pleased by the lack of the Church. I do not understand why the Singularity provokes such reactions. We do not know much about it: Surely the wisest course of action is to learn more and then decide how to proceed?
