It makes sense. While we all consider our worlds to be very different from each other, in some respects they are more alike than different. Just as those of us from Fodlan all likely seem similar to everyone not from Fodlan even though we are aware of the differences. The worlds seem to share some basic physical properties. We may share very basic magical properties as well. It is hard to say.

My continent only was allowed to worship a single deity. Although I have encountered shrines to other deities, I am not particularly familiar with their stories. The only nation of another faith that I have some knowledge of does not worship deities; they believe the world and nature itself are a collection of spirits. They work with these spirits; it is not codified and magical unlike the worship I am used to.

There is no name for it in Fodlan. I should choose one, I suppose.

It is a very difficult problem. I am studying it, and there are avenues which have seemed promising, but my efforts are slow and frustrated by many factors outside of my control. I will add what I have learned to Istredd's library.
