I am familiar with forcible magical transformations using already existing creatures or people: I have seen several and I have some information about how the triggers work. There is much I don't understand, but I will add what I know to the Horizon libraries.

Have those who were abducted been examined? Magical experimentation of this nature can cause illness and health complications in its subjects. You mentioned a cure for the foreign substance's symptoms, but the effects can hide and not be immediately apparent as an ailment or injury.

I would suggest being very careful about trying High Magic. If the wrong person tries, it may not go well.

If we are all watched so much and the nations are at odds, how were Summoned abducted from each nation?
