None of us were awake for the transportation, unfortunately. I don't know nearly enough about this world's magic, but if perhaps there were some means of tracing spells, that may help. Did the abduction sights show any sign of magic recently used?

I'll keep it in mind. I can't imagine a creature that size would go unnoticed on land, so I suppose the only logical conclusion would be it left for the water. Or, somehow went underground, or travels between layers of reality. Regardless, an investigation of the island for any sign of where it might've gone would be prudent.
